FOLKLORE ACTIVITIES OF PEOPLE IN DONG NAI, VIETNAM

Abstract

Throughout history, Vietnamese people have received positive elements of foreign beliefs and religions. Up to now, folk beliefs have been preserved, playing an important role in the spiritual life of people. The role of Vietnamese folk beliefs is expressed in the interpretation of natural and human phenomena; in moral education; promote democracy, solidarity and preserve the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people. This study analyzes and assesses the current situation of folk cultural activities of people in Dong Nai province, Vietnam.
